Objectives

We have six objectives that we will review from time to time. Our aim is to achieve all of them.

With no Government funding available for research into the cause or a cure for Fibromyalgia,

We WILL raise awareness through television, the press and every other media and bring pressure to those in the 'corridors of power'.

We WILL encourage donations towards research to find a cure that we as fibromites, can initiate ourselves.

We WILL press NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) to adopt guidelines for Fibromyalgia and the Government to provide funding for research.

We WILL look for sponsorship to make a documentary film to highlight the problems with Fibromyalgia which America claims is now reaching world wide epidemic proportions.

We WILL press ahead to achieve our goal - our own Fibromyalgia TV Channel, accessible by the Internet.

We WILL press for more training about Fibromyalgia for our GPs, specialists, physiotherapists and in schools for children with Juvenile Fibromyalgia and where possible offer ourselves as 'expert patients' to teach medical students.

We WILL offer support to all Fibromites or those with chronic long term illness who ask for our help.
