Thanks for dropping in and we hope you enjoy the Folly Pogs site and find something of interest.

We, Sarah Owen and myself, and our web mistress Heddwen Ede, to who we owe an enormous debt of gratitude for creating this website, are dedicated to raising funds for research for Fibromyalgia to find a cure and raising awareness. But we are also conscious that there are folk in and around the East Hampshire borders who would welcome support, friendship and the opportunity to make new friends - of Fibromites.

From July we are offering social lunches once a month, currently at The Selsey Tram, on the A286, off the A27 at the Chichester roundabout with the footbridge. As the dates may vary you will need to contact us to confirm the details. We will endevour to keep our events and news pages as up to date as possible.

At the same time the East Hampshire Borders Fibromyalgia Philanthropists Support Group have established a ‘virtual group’ for nationwide Folly Pogs. Our name is such a mouthful we have simplified it to the Folly Pogs.

This will be for other folk around the country, some are ‘normals’*, who may be willing to do some fund raising for the Folly Pogs research, or talk to medical students about fibromyalgia to raise awareness. They will be kept in touch by newsletter and emails.

We are really on the edge of a new adventure. You can join us for our social lunches without commitment. We could become a proper group with meetings in a hall, speakers, volunteers to make tea, and someone to be responsible for membership and fees. Or you could just be a ‘virtual’ Folly Pog – someone dedicated to raising awareness and funds for research. The choice is yours.
